Route details
The Lesotho MTB Tour extends over 315km of exciting and challenging dirt roads and mountain passes with a total climb of 8047m and total decreases of 8469m.
We enter Lesotho at the Quachasnek Border Post just outside Matatiele and drive east and north to where we take the tarred road outside Mokhotlong which takes us to Sani Mountain lodge. Here we will stop for lunch at the Highest Pub in Africa before we continue with the descent of Sani pass to the finish line at the Sani Hotel at the bottom of Sani pass.

GPS Devices
In case of extreme weather conditions, where route marking may become difficult to see, we encourage riders to bring their own GPS devices. All routes GPS files will be made available for the riders.
